I never saw my self as a blogger, a reviewer, or much of anything. The only passion I ever really possessed was video games, comic books, or anything having to do with “geek culture”.

I spent a lot of my days looking at review sites, blogs; looking for new trends, games and whatnot. Then the Game Spot fiasco occurred and my trust in these sites faltered.

The breaking point for me was seeing IGN’s website plastered in ads for the Iron Man video game and articles containing nothing but hype. Then the game comes out and the give it a 3.8 out of 10.

That essentially forced me to create Nexcidia. I will bring reviews, thoughts, comments, and what ever else I decide to type up; that are completely independent of whatever ads may be on this site.

I promise you I will not whore this site out. I look at Nexcidia as my child, and I will not stick my kid out on the corner giving out cheap blowjobs reviews for money.
