I finally managed to watch Extract over the weekend, although I was very happy with the movie. I wanted more.

For those of you who haven’t watched any of the trailers the film is about Joel (Jason Bateman) who owns an Extract factory who is married to Cindy (Kristen Wiig) a work from home coupon designer and there mundane suburbia marriage which is on the verge of falling apart.

I think the reason I wanted more was mainly because I had no idea what to expect and was hoping for more of a comedy; especially with Jason Bateman and Kristen Wiig as the staring characters.

For me personally I would rank this as my third favourite Mike Judge film with Office Space taking the crown, and I would definitely recommend this film for anyone wanting a break from the shit movies of today.

ZOMG!!!!!

Very little to say so to save time and effort; in point form!

• Lived up to the hype.
• People in the audience who yell out “OH MY GOD ITS TWO FACE” during his transformation deserve to be beaten for stupidity.
• Heath Ledger kicked ass, and I am not saying that because he is dead and I feel that I am some life long fan whose life is now in turmoil.

That’s it, go see it.

I have been very slow to write the review for wanted, and I realized this morning that the reason was that I am completely indifferent towards the movie.

I certainly didn’t hate it, but a long ways from loving it. I mean you see people get killed in the most physic defying manner possible, and a few meh explosions.

I read the comic years ago and can hardly remember any of it, which basically tells me I wasn’t a huge fan of it, all I can remember is killing.

Nothing else I can really say. Which sucks, I was looking forward to it.

The new Hulk was released Nationwide tonight, best part of the movie? Ang Lee wasn’t involved.

Not much to say in regards to a Hulk movie; to put it simply Hulk smashes stuff…lots of stuff. Now don’t get me wrong it certainly isn’t some straight up action film with no script. It is a generally all-around decent film.

The movie is a great example of how the comic book movie genre is progressing. We have a giant green guy yelling a lot and it makes sense. The writers aren’t required to write some long back story, that only complexes a simple thought.

As a comic book fan, it is a great thing to witness. To my recent memory it is one of the better comic book movies that I have seen. Though certainly not as good as Iron Man, it is damn fine.

And just so you know the ending. I think I came a little.
